Our main aim is to ensure that our clients are fully informed of their rights and obligations under the law. We will explain the process involved in any action in clear and plain language in order to ensure that you and your family are protected to the best possible extent.

We always aim to resolve family law disputes in a speedy, non-acrimonious, and cost-effective manner however where this is not possible, we have many years of experience working closely with family law Barristers who will firmly fight on your behalf.

We deal with the following areas:

  • Divorce
  • Judicial Separation
  • Separation Agreements
  • Nullity
  • Negotiated Settlements
  • Dissolution of Civil Partnerships and Custody
  • Applications for the Production of a Child
  • Maintenance Applications
  • Access Applications
  • Guardianship Applications
  • Pension Adjustment Rulings

Where the parties are consenting, it may be possible to have the hearing made via Virtual Court Room.  We can discuss this possibility with you at your consultation.

If you are considering a Divorce or Judicial Separation application that may be made on consent, we would advise you to contact the Mediation Department at the Legal Aid Board who will provide you with 4-6 sessions of free mediation. The service is fully confidential and the mediation department will provide you with a note of the mediated agreement which can then form the basis of your settlement terms.

Both parties must contact the center separately in order to begin this process. Details of your local center are available at:

If you are unsure about this process or whether it is right for you please arrange a consultation and we would be happy to assist you.
